Latest version allows property professionals to estimate claims on mobile, tablet, online, or desktop platforms
Today at its fourth annual user conference, Xactware unveiled Xactimate® version 28, a revolutionary new way to estimate structural repair costs on mobile, online, and desktop platforms.
When the update is released in spring 2013, Xactimate will be available on iOS and AndroidTM devices, web browsers, or desktop and laptop computers. This gives insurance and restoration professionals the flexibility to record claims information, diagram loss sites, compile repair costs, and produce estimate reports on a wide range of computing devices.
“Xactimate version 28 takes claims estimating to a whole new level,” said Ryan Johnson, Xactware’s assistant vice president of Xactimate. “Now there’s no need to be tied to your office, or even a single computer, when estimating a loss. You can work on claims assignments with the platform that best suits your needs. It’s truly the most innovative and flexible way to estimate structural repair costs.”
Work assignments sync on Xactimate mobile, online, or desktop platforms via powerful cloud-based technology. This means when an Xactimate user makes changes to an estimate on a smartphone, tablet, or computer, the information can update everywhere else so the user can seamlessly switch devices and keep working on estimates when needed. Since assignments can be stored in the cloud, there’s no need to worry about losing data if a device is lost or destroyed. Xactware’s cloud also simplifies collaboration with supervisors and coworkers.
Xactimate mobile will be available from the App Storesm or Google PlayTM, and estimators will access Xactimate online at Xactimate.com. Xactimate desktop will be available as a standard download.
